Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching differs from traditional psychotherapy.  Therapy works with your past and present more to understand more what brought you to where you are.  In coaching, we focus more on the present and future.  While sometimes we look at what might be some of the causes holding you back, we primarily work on finding ways to help you move forward and get more immediate results.

Some people use coaching to get past a particular item to focus on getting past.  For others, coaching serves as a way to help work on a several areas of focus.  This ranges from several sessions to longer for those that want ongoing work.

Absolutely not, unless you want it shared.  Otherwise, our coaching sessions are completely confidential.
